ESPÍRITU SANTO… guia nuestros corazones y ora con y por nosotros.

INTENCIÓN… En unos instantes (segundos) ofrezcamos este Vía Crucis desde lo más profundo de nuestros corazones por alguna intención (en silencio) que tengamos.

HOLY SPIRIT... guides our hearts and prays with and for us.

INTENTION... In a few seconds in silent offer this Way of the Cross from the depths of our hearts for any intention that we may have.

1ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS ES CONDENADO A MUERTE

1^ST STATION: JESUS IS CONDEMNED TO DEATH

Tantos jóvenes condenados a muerte, tantos que viven dramáticamente la vida metidos en la droga, en el hospital con enfermedades incurables, o sin trabajos. Condenados a muerte, siendo el blanco de todas las crisis, envueltos en tremendas depresiones y a veces convencidos de que nadie apuesta por ellos.  Son jóvenes a los que ama Cristo y su Iglesia.

Many young people sentenced to death, many who live life dramatically stuck in drugs, in the hospital with incurable diseases, unemployment. Sentenced to death, being the target of all crises wrapped in tremendous depression and sometimes convinced that nobody bet for them. They are young people that Christ and his Church love.

Señor, ayúdanos a vivir como jóvenes que transmiten esperanza en un mundo que vive sin salidas y con tremendas contradicciones. Que la cruz de Cristo sea para todos nosotros fuerza para caminar al lado de los pobres y que encendamos luces en vez de quedarnos en la tremenda queja de quien maldice la oscuridad, pero no hace nada por salir de ella.

Lord, help us to live as young people who convey hope in a world that lives without exits and tremendous contradictions. That the cross of Christ be for all of us strength to walk alongside the poor and that we turn lights instead of staying in the complaint tremendous whoever vilifies the dark, but do nothing out of it.

2ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS CARGA CON LA CRUZ

2^ND STATION: JESUS CARRIES THE CROSS

Esta cruz es la cruz de todos y cada uno de nosotros ¿Quién no ha sufrido alguna vez la cruz de la humillación, de la incomprensión, del dolor físico o moral? ¿Quién no ha tenido en su corazón todas las dificultades en el camino de la vida? Jesús carga con su cruz, también nosotros debemos cargar con nuestra cruz pesada de cada día y luchar con todas las fuerzas por hacer un mundo más justo y más fraternal.

This cross is the cross of each and every one of us who has not ever had the cross of humiliation, misunderstanding, physical or moral pain? Who has not had in his heart all the difficulties on the way of life? Jesus carries his cross; we too must carry our heavy cross every day and fight with all forces to make a fair-minded and more fraternal world.

Señor, Jesús crucificado, te pedimos que nos ayudes. Enséñanos y danos fuerzas para cargar con nuestra cruz, una cruz de madera, una cruz sin brillo, una cruz que a veces se hace insoportable pero contigo, Señor, podemos llevarla con amor.

Lord Jesus crucified, we ask that you help us. Teach and give us strength to bear our cross, a wooden cross, a dull cross, a cross that sometimes becomes unbearable but with you Lord, we can take it with love.

3º ESTACIÓN: JESÚS CAE POR PRIMERA VEZ

3^RD STATION: JESUS FALLS FOR THE FIRST TIME

¡Señor Jesús, tu que lo sanas todo, no dejes nunca que nuestras caídas se conviertan en heridas incurables!  Sólo si nos levantamos mirando a Cristo que también cayó podremos vivir con gozo y alegría acogiendo la infinita Misericordia del Señor.  Santo no fue el que nunca cayó, sino el que siempre se levantó.

Lord Jesus, you that heal everything never let our falls become incurable wounds!  Only if we got up looking to Christ who also fell, we can live with joy and gladness embracing the infinite mercy of the Lord.  Saint was not the one who never fell, but the one who always got up.

Esta primera caída de Jesús nos recuerda las caídas de tantos jóvenes en las drogas, en el alcohol, en la pornografía y en los demás vicios.  También nos debe hacer recordar y orar por los que caen en la violencia, en toda forma de vida que nos esclaviza y que impide que los jóvenes sean felices.

This first fall of Jesus reminds us the falls of so many young in drugs, alcohol, pornography and other vices.  We must also remember and pray for those who fall into violence, all forms of life that enslaves us and prevents that the young people to be happy.

Señor, caído con la cruz a cuestas, ayúdanos a soportar las cruces de la vida con la convicción de que nuestras heridas se transformaran en resurrección, pues Tú, Señor, has vencido y nos ayudas a vivir con la máxima convicción de tu esperanza, ayudando a todos los caídos a levantarse y volver al Hogar de tu Corazón Misericordioso.

Lord fallen with the Cross, help us to bear the crosses of life with the conviction that our wounds are transformed into a resurrection, because You, Lord, have overcome and help us to live with the highest conviction of your hope, helping all the fallen to rise and return to the Home of Your Merciful Heart.

4ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS SE ENCUENTRA CON SU MADRE

4^TH STATION: JESUS MEETS HIS MOTHER

Muchos jóvenes, incluso en edades muy tempranas experimentan la decepción de tantos amores. Muchas veces sólo el amor de la madre permanece en pie. Quizás, como nos recuerda esta estación, porque ellas son capaces esperar y de estar cerca en “las duras y en las maduras”.  María acompaña a su Hijo a la cruz.  Ella está allí sosteniéndonos y ayudándonos como cuando a veces la única manera que tenemos como ayuda es que alguien esté con nosotros, estando presente cuando estamos en la calle de la amargura.

Many young people, even at very early ages experience the disappointment of many loves. Often only the love of the mother remains standing. Perhaps, as it is remembered this Station because they (the mothers) are able to wait and to be close "in the good and bad times". Mary accompanies her Son to the Cross. She is there supporting and helping us as when sometimes the only way we have as a help is that someone to be with us, being present when we are on the street of bitterness.

María Santísima, Señora nuestra y de todos los jóvenes en soledad y que viven en la calle de la amargura.  Tú que estas también delante de nuestras cruces, delante de nuestras angustias, acompáñanos y lleva nuestros pasos cansados a tu Hijo Jesús, para que lo encontremos siempre a Él, como el Camino de Vida.  Vuelve a nosotros, la más agraciada abogada nuestra, esos tus ojos misericordiosos, ojos de madre y enséñanos que nuestro camino debe estar junto al de tu Hijo Amado Jesús de Nazaret.

Blessed Mary, Our Lady and Mother and all young people alone and living on the streets of bitterness.  You, who are in front of our crosses, in front of our anguishes, be with us and take our tired steps to your Son Jesus, so we always find Him as the Way of Life.  Turn then, our most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, eyes of mother and teach us that our path should be next to your beloved Son Jesus of Nazareth.

5ª ESTACIÓN: SIMON EL CIRINEO AYUDA A JESÚS A CARGAR LA CRUZ

5^TH STATION: SIMON OF CYRENE HELPS JESUS CARRY THE CROSS

Todos necesitamos cirineos que nos ayuden a llevar nuestras cruces.  Los jóvenes necesitan personas que estén a su lado, con quien compartan sus dudas y fracasos y sobre todo que les ayuden a llevar con paciencia la cruz en sus vidas.  Los jóvenes necesitan hoy más que nunca ser acompañados por catequistas, animadores de pastoral juvenil, familia, acompañamiento espiritual, algún cirineo que estando a su lado les ayuden a cargar con la pesada cruz de cada día.

We all need a Cyrene that helps us to carry our crosses.  Young people need people that are at their side, with who share their doubts and failures and especially to help them bear with patience the cross in their lives.  Young people need more than ever to be accompanied by catechists, animators of youth pastoral (or ministry), family, spiritual accompaniment, some Cyrene that being at their side to help them bear the heavy cross of each day.

Señor, mándanos cirineos que nos ayuden, vocaciones de hombre y mujeres para estar cerca de los jóvenes, a veces en los peores momentos de su vida.  Gracias, Señor, por todos los cirineos que pusiste en mi camino y que me enseñaron y ayudaron a vivir la vida desde el Amor de Dios y en el servicio de los hermanos.

Lord, send us some Cyrene to help us, vocations of men and women so that they can work with young people, sometimes in the worst moments of their lives.  Thank you, Lord, for all the Cyrene you put in my way and taught me and helped me to live life from the Love of God and in the service of the brethren.

6ª ESTACIÓN: LA VERÓNICA ENJUGA EL ROSTRO DE JESÚS

6^TH STATION: VERONICA WIPES THE FACE OF JESUS

Aquella mujer, como muchos jóvenes, estaba allí.  Miró a Cristo y se conmovió su corazón.  No se quedó en el lamento, sino que pasó a la acción, a la vida entregada.  El Señor quiso que su rostro quedase plasmado en el lienzo.  El Señor nos ha dado a nosotros, jóvenes, mucho más que a la Verónica, nos ha dado la Eucaristía, en la cual esta su Cuerpo, su Sangre, su Alma y su Divinidad.  Cuántas veces no le hacemos caso, no acudimos a la Misa, y no se queda su Presencia en nuestro corazón.

That woman, like many young, was there.  She looked to Christ and her heart was moved.  She did not stay in regret, but took action; her life was a given life. The Lord wanted his face reflected in the linen cloth. The Lord has given us, young people, much more than the Veronica, has given us the Eucharist, which is his Body and his Blood, his Soul and Divinity.  How often we do not pay attention, we do not go to Mass, and His Presence does not remain in our heart.

Señor, te damos gracias por tantas Verónicas valientes (como lo fue la Beata Madre Teresa de Calcuta) que limpian el rostro de los “otros Cristos” que son nuestros hermanos.  Te pedimos que Tú llames a “muchas y muchos Verónicas”, y que estos respondan fiel a tu llamado para que sean capaces de ayudar a nuestro mundo y sociedad y de esta forma se establezca la Civilización del Amor.

Lord, we thank you for so many brave Veronica (as was Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta) that clean the face of "other christs" who are our brothers and sisters.  We ask that you call "many Veronica" and that these faithful respond to your call, to be able to help our world and society and in that way be established Your Love Civilization. 

7ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS CAE POR SEGUNDA VEZ

7^TH STATION: JESUS FALLS FOR THE SECOND TIME

Es cierto que los jóvenes son a veces frágiles, pero en Cristo ponemos nuestra esperanza.  Los jóvenes son el blanco de todas las estrategias de publicidad del consumerismo, y de esta forma así ser presa fácil. A veces las caídas de los jóvenes vienen por una gran cantidad de estratégica manipulación con un enfoque rentable y programado para los jóvenes por parte de las industrias de marketing.  La Iglesia nos ama tal como somos y nunca seremos instrumentalizados por ella.

It is true that young people are sometimes fragile but in Christ we put our hope. Young people are the target of all advertising strategies of consumerism, and thereby well be easy prey.  Sometimes young people are falling for a lot of strategic manipulation with a rentable effective approach and programmed for young people by the marketing industries.  The Church loves us as we are and we will never be instrumentalized by her.  

Debemos descubrir en los caídos el rostro de Cristo vivo.  En todos los caídos nos toca ver a “los crucificados con los clavos sutiles de este mundo”.  Por eso debemos saber ver y descubrir una llamada de parte de Dios para servir a los demás.  De esta forma debemos vivir sembrando por los caminos de la vida los frutos de la caridad (o sea el amor hecho acción), de la esperanza y de la fe en Cristo y en su Iglesia por medio de una vida de santidad.

We must discover in the fallen the face of the living Christ.  In all the fallen we have to see "the crucified with the elusive nails of this world."  So we may see and discover a call from God to serve others.  In this way we should live planting along the roads of life the fruits of charity (that mean the love made action), hope and faith in Christ and His Church through a holiness life.

Señor Jesús, danos fuerzas para ayudar a todas las personas a descubrir y a vivir en la dignidad de los hijos de Dios; y a compartir, en la mesa común de la humanidad, los bienes que nos pertenecen a todos por igual.

Lord Jesus, give us strength to help everyone to discover and to live in the dignity of the children of God and to share in the common table of humanity, the goods that belong to all equally.

8ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS CONSUELA A LAS PIADOSAS MUJERES

8^TH STATION: JESUS MEETS THE PIOUS WOMEN

Ser joven no puede significar estar hundido y pasando a veces por noches oscuras. Necesitamos encontrar en la Cruz el rostro de Cristo crucificado que nos enseña a descubrir el sufrimiento de tantos hermanos nuestros que caminan a nuestro lado. El mundo de los jóvenes de hoy busca el consuelo fácil a veces a costa de la verdad.  La Iglesia desde la realidad y la verdad nos ofrece el verdadero consuelo que calma nuestra sed y nos abre a la esperanza en la vida diaria al contemplar el rostro del que tiene siempre abierto el Corazón.

Being young cannot mean to be sunk and passing sometimes dark nights.  We need to find in the Cross the face of the crucified Christ that teaches us to discover the suffering of so many brothers and sisters that are walking beside us.  The world of young people today is looking for the easy comfort sometimes at the expense of the truth.  The Church from the reality and truth gives us true comfort that calms our thirst and opens us to hope in daily life to contemplate the face of which has always open the Heart.

Señor Jesús, queremos que Tú con tu Amor, nos consueles en el camino de la vida y ayúdanos a mostrarnos disponibles ante tantos jóvenes que han perdido el norte, el rumbo de sus vidas.

Lord Jesus, we want You with your Love comfort us in the way of life and help us to show ourselves available to many young people who have lost the north, the way of their lives.

9ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS CAE POR TERCERA VEZ

9^TH STATION: JESUS FALLS FOR THE THIRD TIME

La fragilidad de los jóvenes a veces también es fuente de humildad y esperanza.  San Pablo decía que todo lo podía en Aquél que nos da fuerzas o que nos conforta (Filipenses 4, 13), y decía algo más luminoso, aunque misterioso: “porque cuando soy débil entonces soy fuerte” (2Corintios 12, 10).

The fragility of youth is sometimes also a source of humility and hope.  St. Paul said that he can do everything in Him who gives us strength or comfort us (Philippians 4: 13), and said something brighter, though mysterious: "for when I am weak then I am strong" (2Corinthians 12: 10).

¿Qué quería decir? Que con Cristo todo lo podemos quiere decir que nuestra fragilidad viviendo con fe se puede convertir en fuente de esperanza. Porque es verdad que Cristo y yo es igual a mayoría aplastante.  Sólo tenemos que levantarnos y confiar en Aquél que nunca nos abandona.

What did he mean?  That with Christ all we can mean that our fragility living with faith can become a source of hope.  Because it is true that Christ and I is equals overwhelming majority.  We just have to get up and trust in Him who never abandons us.

Señor Jesús, te pedimos que nos ilumines y nos ayudes a levantarnos cuando no podemos más pues Tú eres el vencedor del pecado, del dolor y de la muerte.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to enlighten us and help us to get up when we cannot do more for You are the defeater of sin, pain and death.

10ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS ES DESPOJADO DE SUS VESTIDURAS

10^TH STATION: JESUS IS STRIPPED OF HIS GARMENTS

¡Cuántos jóvenes despojados de trabajo, de sus dignidades más elementales, de ver sus derechos pisoteados, de tanta instrumentalización ideológica!  Jesús se despoja de las vestiduras y lo presentan sin nada, sólo con su Amor al Padre y a todos, y con su Verdad proclamada a los cuatro vientos.  Nos lo ha dado todo.  Se ha despojado hasta de su Madre, que nos la entregará como Madre nuestra.  En su Corazón sólo hay un deseo de “amar hasta el extremo”.  Vive estos momentos como el leño verde en invierno, con la esperanza cierta de que no está lejos la primavera.

How many young deprived of their work, of their most basic dignities, see their rights trampled on, of much ideological exploitation!  Jesus is stripped of the garments and is presented with nothing, only His love for the Father and all of us, and with His Truth proclaimed to the four winds.  He gave us everything.  He has deprived of his Mother; He delivered Her to us as our Mother.  In His Heart only is a desire to "love to the extreme". Live these moments as green wood in winter, with some hope that spring is not far.

Señor, despójanos de todo lo que nos aparte de Ti, no dejes que caigamos en la tentación de la desesperanza, no permitas que nos instalemos en la queja.  Extirpa de raíz en nosotros el pecado que nos separa de Ti, la inmensa tristeza de una vida sin Dios.

Lord, take away everything that set apart us from You, do not let us fall into the temptation of hopelessness, do not let us settled in the complaint.  Uproot in us the sin that separates us from You, the immense sadness of a life without God.

11ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS ES CRUCIFICADO

11^TH STATION: JESUS IS CRUCIFIED

Como si tensasen las cuerdas de una guitarra, así han clavado a Jesús. Como bandera clavada en lo alto de un monte; como “signo de contradicción”; como quien lo ha dado todo Jesús es crucificado es la mejor declaración de Amor del Padre a cada corazón humano. Cuando creas que nadie te quiere, ni te recibe, ni te ha declarado su amor, la contemplación en tu oración del Crucificado siempre te devolverá la esperanza.

As if is strained the strings of the guitar, have so nailed Jesus.  As flag stuck on top of a hill; as a “contradiction sign"; as one who has given everything Jesus is crucified is the best declaration of love of the Father to every human heart. When you think nobody wants you, or will receive you, nor has showed you love, your contemplation prayer in the Crucified always will return the hope.

Señor Jesús, Crucificado en todos los calvarios del mundo, al lado de todos los jóvenes que viven cosidos y crucificados a la droga, al consumismo, al paro a la precariedad del futuro incierto, en todas las cruces posibles, ayúdanos a vivir el sufrimiento como puerta de esperanza, que eres Tú.

Lord Jesus, crucified in all cavalries of the world, next to all young people living sewn and crucified to the drugs, to the consumerism, to the unemployment to a precarious uncertain future, in all possible crosses, help us to live suffering as a door of hope, that is you.

12ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS MUERE EN LA CRUZ

12^TH STATION: JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS

Él ha muerto con los ojos cerrados pero aun así puede ver nuestra realidad.  Sus ojos no quedan demasiado limpios, no se quedan con una estética farisaica o religiosa de la época.  Quedan sucios del polvo y la sangre de nuestras iniquidades y por eso puede quedarse y ver nuestras miserias.

He died with his eyes closed but still can see our harsh reality.  His eyes are not too clean; do not stay with a pharisaical or religious aesthetics of the time. They are dirty from the dust and blood of our sins and for that He can stay and see our misery.

Él ha muerto con los brazos abiertos como el Padre de la parábola del Hijo Pródigo (Lc 15) para abrazar a todos los que vuelven destrozados de la vida. Ha muerto con la cabeza hacia delante porque escucha una por una todas nuestras dificultades. Ha muerto con los pies clavados entregando su Amor, a través de la Iglesia, que como el amor de una madre, siempre espera de noche y de día a que volvamos al Hogar.  Ha muerto con el corazón abierto y para decirnos que las puertas de su costado están siempre abiertas y que no tiene secretos con nosotros.

He died with open arms as the Father of the parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15) to embrace all those who return with shattered life.  He died with his head lean forward because He hears one by one all our difficulties.  He died with his feet nailed giving his Love, through the Church, which like the love of a mother, always waiting night and day to return the Home.  He died with an open heart and to tell us His side doors are always open and have no secrets with us.

Señor Jesús, muerto por nuestros pecados y rebeliones, ayúdanos a comprender que siempre que nos alejamos de Ti no nos va nada bien y que es demasiado peligroso construir una sociedad sin Ti.

Lord Jesus died for our sins and transgressions help us understand that whenever we turn away from you anything goes not go well and it is too dangerous to build a society without you.

13ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS ES PUESTO EN BRAZOS DE SU MADRE

13^TH STATION: JESUS IS PLACED IN HIS MOTHER ARMS

Allí estaban los brazos de su Madre, los brazos de la Iglesia acogiendo y entregando desde su pobreza a Jesús a la humanidad. Pensamos en tantas madres con sus hijos en sus brazos muertos por el odio, la guerra, el terrorismo, la droga. María y la Iglesia acogen en su seno a la humanidad más sufriente. En silencio llora con los que lloran. Les ofrece la esperanza cierta de que “si morimos con Él, viviremos con Él” (2Timoteo 2, 11).

There were the arms of his mother, the arms of the Church, from it poverty, welcoming and delivering Jesus to the humanity.  We think many mothers with their children in their arms dead by hatred, war, terrorism, drugs. Mary and the Church welcome into their womb the suffering humanity.  Silently weeps with those who weep.  It gives them some hope that "if we died with Him, we shall live with Him" (2 Timothy 2: 11).

Señora junto a la cruz, Madre de todos los hombre, Mujer creyente que permanece hasta el final, que no te echas atrás, ayúdanos a ser jóvenes cristianos que vivamos en el Corazón de Cristo y en el interior de tantos dramas como vive nuestro Mundo.

Lady near the cross, Mother of all men, believer woman staying until the end, you do not flinch, help us to be a young Christians that live in the Heart of Christ and inside many tragedies as live our World.

14ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS ES PUESTO EN UN SEPULCRO NUEVO

14^TH STATION: JESUS IS PLACED IN A NEW TOMB

Lo había dicho Jesús; “si el grano de trigo no cae en tierra y muere, no da fruto, pero si muere dará más fruto” (Jn. 12, 24).  Es muy importante saber que para todo en esta vida hay saber esperar; esperamos para nacer y más o que menos esperamos para morir.  Tenemos que vivir con el convencimiento que detrás de la noche viene galopando la aurora.  Es preciso saber que todas nuestras cruces están heridas de resurrección. Es necesario que los cristianos seamos portadores de una esperanza cierta que se fundamenta, desde luego, en el camino de la cruz, pero el destino es la Vida que no se acaba, la vida eterna.

Jesus had said; "I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat but if it dies, it produces much fruit" (Jn. 12: 24).  It is very important to know that for everything in this life we have to wait; we wait to be born and more or less we wait to die. We have to live with the conviction that behind the night the aurora comes galloping.  We must know that all our crosses are wounds of resurrection.  Christians need to be bearers of a truly hope that is based, of course, in the way of the cross, but the destination is the Life that does not end, the eternal life.

Señor Jesús, enséñanos a ver cercana la primavera aunque nos veamos a veces insertos en el crudo invierno y ayúdanos a ser capaces de contagiar al mundo de la esperanza cierta de que Tú eres nuestro Salvador y Redentor.

Lord Jesus, teach us to see nearby the spring although we sometimes see ourselves inserts in the harsh winter and help us to be able to contaminate the world of some hope that You are our Savior and Redeemer.

15ª ESTACIÓN: JESÚS HA RESUCITADO

15^TH STATION: JESUS IS RISEN

Ya ha pasado la noche. Ya se acerca la aurora. Todo podía haber quedado en el mayor fracaso de la historia. Así lo deseaban algunos. Pero de pronto, cuando amanecía, le vieron. Era Él tejiendo primaveras, saliendo a nuestro encuentro por todos los Emaús del mundo. Era Él que decía una y otra vez que vivía. Desde aquel domingo cada vez que celebramos la Eucaristía Jesús se hace presente y nos ayuda en el camino de la vida.

The night passed.  Now it nears the aurora (the dawn).  Everything could have been the greatest failure in history.  So some wanted but suddenly, in the morning, they saw Him.  He was weaving springs, coming to meet us for all the Emmaus of the world.  It was He who said again and again He lived.  Since that Sunday every time we celebrate the Eucharist Jesus is present and helps us on the way of life.

Cristo Resucitado, enséñanos a vivir siempre en el gozo inmenso de quien sabe que nada ni nadie nos podrán quitar tu Amor Resucitado.

Risen Christ, teach us to always live in the great joy of one who knows that nothing and nobody can take away from us, your Risen Love.

Oremos:

Míranos, ¡oh nuestro amado y buen Jesús!, postramos nuestras vidas y nuestros corazones ante tu presencia.  Te rogamos con el más solemne fervor que imprimas en nuestros corazones, vivos sentimientos de fe, esperanza y caridad.  Con mayor razón imprime en nuestros el verdadero dolor y arrepentimiento de nuestros pecados y que nos inculques el propósito de jamás ofenderte.  Mientras que nuestros, con el mayor afecto y compasión del que somos capaces, vamos considerando tus cinco llagas.  De esta forma queremos tener presente lo que de Ti dijo el santo profeta David: “Han taladrado mis manos y mis pies y se pueden contar todos mis huesos” (Salmo 21, 17-18).  Nos queda la más grande de todas las esperanzas de verte a Ti un día Resucitado y Glorioso ente la diestra de tu Padre Misericordioso para adorarte y alabarte eternamente.  ¡Amén!

Let us pray:

Look at us, oh our beloved and good Jesus! We bow down our lives and our hearts in your presence.  We pray with solemn fervor that you engrave in our hearts, living sentiments of faith, hope and charity.  With more reason impress on us the true sorrow and repentance of our sins and inculcate on us the purpose of never offend you.  While we, with the greatest affection and compassion that we are capable, consider your five wounds.  In this way we keep in mind what the holy prophet David said about you: “They have pierced my hands and my feet they can count all my bones” (Psalm 22, 17-18).  It remains the largest of all hopes of one day to see you Resurrected and Glorious at the right hand of your Merciful Father.  Amen!

Oración ante el Cristo Resucitado:

Nos dijeron de noche que estabas muerto y la fe estuvo en vela junto a tu cuerpo.  La noche entera la quisimos pasar moviendo la piedra.  Con la vuelta del sol, volverá a ver la tierra la gloria del Señor.  No supieron contarlos los centinelas: nadie supo la hora ni la manera.  Antes del día, se cubrieron de glorias tus cinco heridas.  Con la vuelta del sol, volverá a ver la tierra la gloria del Señor.  Si los cinco sentidos buscan el sueño, que la fe tenga el suyo vivo y despierto.  La fe velando para verte de noche resucitando.   Con la vuelta del son volverá a ver la tierra la gloria del Señor.  ¡Amén!

Prayer before the Risen Christ:
